Vipassana Meditation

Why meditate?

In the midst of our often busy and demanding lives, meditation offers us a space to return to what truly matters: being fully present with our experience.

Far more than a relaxation technique, meditation is a path of inner transformation. It invites us to cultivate mindful awareness, deepen our understanding of ourselves, and develop a more peaceful relationship with life.

I guide students through this exploration by drawing on the wisdom of the Vipassana tradition and contemplative Buddhism, sharing these teachings with both authenticity and warmth, while remaining faithful to their depth and rigor.

If yoga has taught me how to inhabit the body, meditation has taught me how to inhabit the mind. These two paths beautifully complement one another and inform everything I teach today.

My Meditation Journey

Meditation has been an essential part of my life for nearly twenty years. I first encountered Vipassana meditation in 2008 through the teachings of S.N. Goenka. This experience marked the beginning of a lifelong practice that continues to nourish both my personal life and my work as a teacher.

After completing several ten-day silent retreats in this tradition, I continued my studies with Geshe Michael, a teacher in the Tibetan Gelugpa tradition. For several years I studied and practiced under his guidance, discovering the richness of Buddhist philosophy and contemplative teachings.

In 2013, I met my current teachers, Patricia and Charles Genoud. I had the privilege of taking part in their Dharma Teacher Training Program alongside a small group of dedicated practitioners, engaging in an in-depth path of study, meditation, and spiritual accompaniment.

Today, I teach meditation alongside them through the Méditer en ligne platform and at the Vimalakirti Centre in Geneva. I also serve as an assistant teacher during Vipassana retreats, offering individual interviews, guided meditations, and Dharma talks.

My approach is deeply rooted in the Buddhist tradition while remaining accessible and relevant to contemporary life. Rather than seeing meditation simply as a relaxation technique, I understand it as a way of being—one that cultivates greater presence, clarity, wisdom, and inner freedom in everyday life.

What students say

"When I first listened to your teaching on Karuna, something extraordinary happened. I felt a space opening in my chest and a great weight lifting. What followed was an immense sense of simple joy and a surge of energy. I felt like singing and laughing again—something I hadn't experienced for a long time."
— Françoise

"I also loved the way you guided us with your words—so touching and so true."
— Elisa

"I listened to the third teaching on Sati this morning. During the meditation I connected with an emotion that had been colouring my days for several months. Suddenly tears began to flow. Simply allowing that emotion instead of pushing it away brought me such relief. Thank you for that."
— Fanny

"Just a little note to simply say thank you for your practices and your teachings, which are so enriching and inspiring."
— Elodie
